British accessories designer Lulu Guinness has teamed up with Sainsbury’s to create three, limited edition shoppers to celebrate Red Nose Day and raise money for charity, Comic Relief.
The Lulu Guinness bags, which have been designed specifically for Red Nose Day, feature red noses on her iconic designs such as the Doll Face, the Kooky Kat and her signature spots, and each will retail for 5 pounds, with at least 1.50 pounds going directly to Comic Relief.
Commenting on her collaboration, Guinness said: "I am delighted to be involved in this project and had such fun designing these bags. They are called Dolls Face, Kooky Kat and Spotted Nose and my favourite has to be Spotted Nose; it is both playful and chic.
“The Red Nose is of course the integral feature of each design, which I have complimented and emphasised with a monochrome backdrop. I couldn't be happier that I was able to design a bag that will go forward in helping those in unfortunate circumstances."
James Brown, Head of Clothing at Sainsbury’s added: “We are thrilled to be working with Lulu Guinness and supporting Red Nose Day, in aid of Comic Relief. These bags are a stylish addition to the Bag for Life collection.”
The bags will be available in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide and online from February 13, and this marks the supermarket retailer’s fourteenth year of working with the charity.
