New Balance is the fourth largest Sport Shoe Manufacturer in the world and the 2nd largest in the United States.
We are looking for that elusive rare talent and style from our Performance Shoe designers to influence and implement the future design strategy for Performance footwear products in Southern Europe.

o To conduct market and retail visits and to evaluate multiple strands of market research to identify product opportunities and keep abreast of developing market trends

o To work with the Product Development team to develop sketches for upper and sole designs within agreed timelines.

o To develop technical packages with the engineering group to use in creating sole blueprints

o To develop new designs as required to meet commercial needs and to evaluate and propose colour and material combinations

o To determine innovative approaches and concepts with regard to different logo treatments, the application of different technical fabrications, upper prints, and alternative lacing closures

o Identify new opportunities to regularly evolve the product offering and introduce alternative silhouettes and more commercial opportunities.

o To work effectively and to share resources with the New Balance global design teams in the US and Japan

o To manage the complete design process to ensure timely completion of all projects
