Junior Garment Technologist – Manchester

Founded in 1958, this multi-national organisation are the UK's largest Importers and Exporters of high fashion clothing, supplying to many major High Street retailers. They have headquarters in Manchester, and also offices worldwide, including London, Hong Kong, New York and Madrid.
Due to their continuing growth and development, they now have an opening for a Junior Garment Technologist to join their expanding team.
Key duties will include evaluating the workmanship, quality and construction of garments, testing the garments and trims and the approval of lab dips. You will also be preparing and updating garment specs, approving Pre Production and Production samples to a commercial standard and developing carte labels tat meet regulation standards.
Candidates must possess good communication skills as the role involves liaising with Designers, Merchandisers and sales team, along with suppliers both in the UK and offshore. You must also have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Email.
