Summary of Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Designer to design innovative concepts for all new marketing initiatives. Your work will represent and enhance the Next brand; designing the look and feel for all its family of websites. Day to day responsibilities will include the design of new & original creative concepts for websites, emails, banners & pages for our new products.

Criteria

• Worked in a commercial environment for at least 2 years and have a strong online portfolio.
• A natural flair for design and creativity; good understanding of colour theory and how this applies to design; an eye for excellent photography; knowledge of how to apply type and a very good understanding of typography.
• High level of Adobe Photoshop proficiency.
• High level of Adobe Illustrator proficiency.
• Experience of Flash would be an advantage but not essential.
• An understanding of HTML.
• The ability to be able to resolve creative problems using your initiative and your good knowledge of website usability and accessibility requirements.
• The ability to act quickly within a busy department and business environment.
• The ability to take full responsibility for role and actions.
• High motivation and be able to demonstrate resilience when working under pressure, displaying a calm and rational approach to the task in hand.
• Previous experience of project management from conception to completion. Demonstrating excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure implementation within the required deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to timescale and the ability to manage and prioritise own workload.

Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm & Friday 9am to 4.45pm

Salary: £21891.00 - £25000.00 p/a
