Vans to open store in London

Vans Inc has announced it plans to open a full-priced retail store in London's Carnaby Street. The new store by the leading casual footwear and clothing company will open this fall. The British Vans outlet will be the firm's first full-priced store in Europe and complement its seven existing outlet stores in the UK, Austria and Spain.

In a statement President and CEO, Gary Schoenfeld, said: "Carnaby Street has great heritage and fashion influence and represents an ideal platform for us to showcase our products and heighten our exposure internationally. (…) We are very excited about the opportunity and believe that this can provide the impetus for further wholesale and retail expansion in Europe."
