HOSKER MOORE KENT MELIA TO RENEW THE RAVEL BRAND

HOSKER MOORE KENT MELIA have been appointed by Clarks International to create a new corporate and retail identity for premium fashion footwear brand Ravel. HMKM will undertake a renewal of Ravel¹s identity, store environment and packaging and are consulting regarding future image making for the brand.

The Ravel logo will be updated and HMKM will introduce a new company colour scheme, to be used on all elements of Ravel¹s identity.

HMKM¹s forthcoming interiors scheme will emanate a cool, urban feel which will give the Ravel store a unique fashion accent whilst complementing Ravel shoe and accessory collections.

"There was a gap in the marketplace for a fashion shoe brand aimed to meet high aspiration at an affordable price,"said Rosemary Carr, Ravel¹s Marketing Director. "Ravel is reinforcing its heritage as a premium brand on the high street in terms of quality and design".

Peter Kent, Creative Director for HMKM, commented "We have been working very closely with the Ravel marketing team, which has given the project a very positive and focused drive to produce a new fashion classic on the high street."

The new Ravel store concept is set to launch in the UK for Autumn 2002.
