Versace meets Nokia
The new Donatella Versace Nokia 7270 will have you ringing your friends in style - all in the name of charity. The purpose of fashion charity events, of course, is two-fold. Not only do they raise awareness and funds to help make the world a better place, but they also give the fashion hungry the chance to indulge their addiction guilt-free. Case in point, the Dontella Versace Nokia 7270.
Sure, 799 EUR may seem a lot for a folding-mobile, even one with a designer name and a hand-strap dripping with Swarovski crystals. But since this limited-edition, art-deco inspired design is a charity-project for Life Ball 2005 the little voices in your head that regulate your spending will have no choice but hush. After all, red ribbons are all well and good - but you can't use them to stream video or SMS your friends, Versace style.

Nokia does fashion
The Finnish mobile phone company has introduced three new fashion phones in Shanghai last week. The phones were launched yesterday at the Totally Fashion Event.
The Nokia 7280, Nokia 7270 and the Nokia 7260 combine art deco style of the 1920s with the edginess associated with contemporary state of the art electronics. The Nokia 7280 comes in a sleek design with a keyless dial, instead of the traditional keypad. Mirrors and leather details complete the lacquer-inspired high-gloss finish. Furthermore, it has a VGA camera function and a slide function. The 7270 is inspired by the glamorous roaring 1920s, with a clam-shell exterior encased in an etched stainless steel cover. This phone also has a camera function and an FM radio and headset. The 7260 in turn features chrome and steel detailing.
A must-have item for the fashion crowd.
