Madonna mania continues
On Thursday Madonna's documentary “let me tell you a secret” will be premiered on Channel 4. The ever-changing chanteuse has caused a frenzy in the capital recently with boutique performances at Koko in Camden and G.A.Y. last Saturday. Word on every editor's lips is how does the 47-year old mother of two manage to get away wearing purple leotards with a belted bathing suit and lace up boots. And more importantl, still looking fit and glamorous.
The answer, of course, is that she is Madonna. And that she has a talent for spotting the right people at the right time (make note: her stylist). The irrevocably self-styled queen of pop understands the importance of aspirational presentation and the constant re-inventions have kept her in the press between albums, world tours, film flops, and Kaballlah pursuits. Recent magazine covers on Harpers & Queen and Tatler have given her a renewed credibility amongst the fashionable set, with beautiful portraits showing she has lost none of her beauty and tongue-in-cheek humour.
Debating whether or not she's too old for costume drama seems neither here nor there. The record is selling off the shelves at stores such as HMV and every disco in town seems to be hung up on her new single.

Bond girls to launch lingerie collection
Sexy classical girl band Bond, whose new album is soon to be released, will soon be fiddling with a different set of bows and g-strings, with plans to launch their own range of lingerie. The all-girl group has been in early discussions with posh lingerie firms for an underwear collection.
The deal could be worth millions of pounds and it would see them join figures such as Kylie Minogue with their own lingerie line. The group already has a lucrative deal to promote glamorous Raymond Weil watches. Bond has caused a stir by adding glamour to the usually far more restrained world of classical music.
A Bond source said: The groups management team are in hush-hush talks to launch their own brand of underwear, the Bond Collection. It is understood that Victorias Secrets is among the firms in discussions.
