my-wardrobe.com record sales rise

Offering designer labels for both men and women, online fashion retailer my-wardrobe.com increased its sales with 121 per cent for the month of December with £1.1m against £503k. The company managed to grow with a record number in just four and a half years of trading.

  Launched in April 2006, my-wardrobe.com exceeded its first £1m monthly sales target and reported 15th December as its biggest shopping day of the year, achieving £126k sales. Visitors to the e-tailer have continued to rise with 117 per cent like-for-like increase in unique visitors (472k against 218k) in December.

For the last quarter of the year, the fashion site reported a 109 per cent increase in sales, on last year (£2.72m against £1.30m). Since the launch of the debut menswear offer in January 2009, sales have exceeded £1.25m in the first year. Whilst building on further growth, my-wardrobe.com received various award nominations including Best E-Tailer at the Drapers Awards and Best E-Tailer, Best Customer Experience and Best Innovation at the forthcoming Drapers E-Tail Awards.

my-wardrobe.com is an e-tail site that offers ‘accessible luxury’ designer womenswear and menswear clothing, shoes and accessories from brands including Mulberry, D&G Dolce&Gabbana, By Malene Birger, Anya Hindmarch, Lyle and Scott, Polo Ralph Lauren and leading denim brands such as J Brand and Nudie.
