Cottonfield Heroes Launch Campaign to Benefit African Literacy
Danish fashion house Cottonfield is teaming up with 12 up-and-coming European athletes to benefit the School for Life educational program for Ghanaian children. Each athlete from the Cottonfield heroes team has announced 3 personal sport goals that will trigger Cottonfield donations that will send as many as 750 boys and girls, ages 8-12, to school in Ghana for nine months.
Their goals includes victories, world rankings, times, and medals in major international tournaments (including the Olympics 2008) and events in coming months.. Achieving each goal will trigger more Cottonfield donations to School for Life. Cottonfield is also a product sponsor for the team – each athlete will be clothed in Cottonfield's latest collections four times a year.
School for Life is a sensitive program that enables children without any other schooling to attend afternoon classes in their own languages. See www.ghanavenskabsgrupperne.dk Cottonfield Managing Director Ed Renner: “This campaign is about excellence as well as relevance: the Cottonfield Heroes are living their dream, and striving to help others do the same. IC Companys acquisition in production Turkey
IC Companys has acquired one of its sourcing and production agents in Turkey effective 1 January 2006. The company, a well-established organisation with 32 employees, will gradually take over the Group's sourcing activities in Turkey and the neighbouring countries. It is expected that the company is integrated in the Group by the end of the 2005/06 financial year.
The new structure will make the Group's European sourcing simpler and more efficient, maintaining the high levels of quality and reliability in deliveries. The objective of the acquisition is also to strengthen the European production platform as an alterna-tive to sourcing from US-dollar-based regions, including China, which is subject to quotas. The acquisition thus complies with IC Companys' strategic objective of having an efficient and balanced produc-tion platform. The consideration will be a maximum of DKK 6 million, and no material restructuring costs are ex-pected. The acquisition will not have any consequences for IC Companys' forecast of revenue, operating profit and cash flows for the financial year ending 30 June 2006.

Further international expansion for the brand will take place trough the same
channels already being used by IC Companys. According to IC Companys, the acquisition
of Tiger does not change its forecasts
of sales and profit for the current financial year.
Lars Gunnar Schultz, President & CEO of the Tiger Group said: "IC Companys is a financially strong group and very competent at operating a portfolio of brands. IC Companys as a large international network, which contributes to a stable infrastructure for the Group's continuing growth. All this was the basis for the owners' unanimous decision, and we are very pleased that the agreement is now a reality."
Tiger was founded in 1903 in Sweden. The company's current brand portfolio strategy was developed in the first half of the 1990s and now consists of a complete brand concept within ready-made clothing and jeans for men and women from 15 to 35 years of age.
