Mustang, the jeanswear and lifestyle company, continues to expand in line with its vertical integration strategy – and is pushing ahead with international growth.
Silvia Schweigart, 32, joined the MUSTANG management team in early June. Her responsibilities include international brand marketing, trade marketing and PR. The position is entirely new, and broad in scope. It was created as part of the company’s vertical integration strategy and focus on brand internationalization.
After completing a B.A. in international marketing, Silvia Schweigart began her career as a brand consultant at a consulting company specializing in strategic brand management. She held positions at Swarovski AG and Skiny Bodywear GmbH in Austria before moving to Laurèl, where she was Director of Marketing & Communications.
Silvia Schweigart reports directly to Theo Birkemeyer, CEO of MUSTANG, and is based at the company’s Frankfurt subsidiary.
