Diesel celebrates its fakes

As India has the largest collection of Diesel fakes in the world, the clothing company decided to accept this fact as a form of flattery and celebrate it with the ‘Fake Party’. Diesel started a guerrilla campaign of ‘Be Stupid’ messages to announce the ‘Fake Party’.

Recently Diesel launched two new stores in Mumbai, and organized a mass mob at one of the stores offering people tickets to the event. Celebrities, Bollywood actors and socialites received invites fitting the theme of the party. Bottles with fake ‘Tears of Joy’ and fake cigarettes packages with mint candy were sent out as invites to attend the event at the Atrium of Palladium High Street Phoenix.

All sorts of efforts were taken to offer the guests a fake experience such as fake flowers, fake confession booth, and a fake art exhibition. Some fake models were spotted at the venue preparing for a fashion show.
