For the second year running, Clothes Show Live is teaming up with make-up brand Maybelline New York. New this year will be the award for the Young
Stylist of the Year in association with Maybelline New York.
The Clothes Show live is searching the country for the most promising fashion talent, and will give the winner the chance to launch their career in fashion styling with this new fashion award. The winner will receive a shoot with Glamour magazine and the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top professionals.
The Clothes Show Live Design Awards are a showcase of UK’s young fashion and design talent. From art to photography and accessory to fashion design, the Awards are a unique educational bursary scheme dedicated to nurturing, supporting and developing the rising talents of the year within the fashion industry. Providing an unprecedented platform into the world of fashion and design, the aim of the Clothes Show Live Design Awards 2008 is to target different skills and age groups to gain recognition within the fashion industry.
Featuring five different categories, students will be invited to enter their work from now until October 2008. All entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the winners will be announced at Clothes Show Live, 5th – 10th December 2008 at Birmingham’s NEC.
