Selfridges shoe-tastic
Wednesday, 25 August 2010 Pretty much everyone in fashion remembers Naomi Campbell’s notorious run down the catwalk on towering platforms by Vivienne Westwood. On 26th August department store Selfridges is opening the doors of an exhibition especially dedicated to Westwood footwear called Vivienne Westwood Shoes: An Exhibition 1973-2010.The exhibition will open in The Ultralaunch and display nearly 200 shoe designs including Campbell’s Super Elevated Gillie, Rocking Horse shoe, Trompe L’oiel boot, and Pirate Boots. The showcase will run until 22 september and admission is free.
