Nike House of Innovation Ahead of the Olympic Games, sportswear giant Nike has launched an experiential retail space within Selfridges, Oxford Street, the Nike House of Innovation, which will be open until mid-August.

The futuristic space combines the best physical and digital experiences in the aim of inspiring everyday athletes to be ‘the best they can be’. The concept store allows customers to trial and buy the latest digitally enable Nike produces as well as limited-edition sports inspired lifestyle collections.

Inspired by the new Nike+ Fuelband, an innovative wristband that tracks movement throughout the day, the Nike House of Innovation has been split into several distinctive zones, featuring interactive experiences designed to encourage and reward movement.

Other highlights of the space include being able to view the Nike Track & Field range, that will be worn by the world’s top athletes in London this summer, including the Nike Pro Turbospeed suit, which will some of the fastest sprinters on the planet will wear. The suit has been created using fabric made from an average of 13 recycled bottles, it’s the lightest, fastest track uniform Nike has ever built.

The Nike House of Innovation is located in Selfridges Ultralounge until August 12 and also features a regular programme of free events and seminars with appearances from athletes and Nike designers.
