To celebrate the opening of the Louis Vuitton Kusama Concept Store at Selfridges today, the French luxury fashion brand and the London department store have created ‘Spot the Difference’: two pieces of video exploring Kusama themes and motifs, to entice the audience to find out more about the collaboration between Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and Marc Jacbos, Louis Vuitton.
Whilst replicating in movement the verses of a Kusama poem, viewers are invited to literally, spot the differences between the two films. Once one of the five differences are found, participants will be able to submit their entries into the ‘Spot the Difference Competition’ on the UK Twitter handle @LouisVuitton_UK including #LVKusama. Five winners will be selected at random and will receive each a copy of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ illustrated by Yayoi Kusama.
The competition will run to 7th September. Winners will be announced via the @LouisVuitton_UK Twitter account on the 12th September. An example tweet to enter the competition: @LouisVuitton_UK I see a red phone in the first video and a black phone in the second #LVKusama.
