Karl’s affordable line
Monday, 19 December 2011 Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled the first pictures from his soon-to-be-launched new and affordable womenswear line for Net-a-Porter.com. The collection, which is set to be unveiled in its entirety during Couture Fashion Week in Paris on January 25, now has a dedicated microsite with a countdown to the launch.The microsite, dedicated to all things Karl, features exclusive pictures of the collection, as well as new app to play a ‘Find Karl’ game and to ‘Karlify’ your look by uploading a picture and seeing it with the his famous white hair and black glasses.
The collection itself features a pair of slim-leg, black trousers paired with a metallic biker jacket and leather vest. Other looks include detachable collars, pleated skirts, a tuxedo-style dress and silver jeans. Prices for the rock ‘n’ roll inspired collection are expected to start as low as 60 Euros.
