Wolford sells 6.3% more this winter

Wolford AG said it achieved a growth in sales of 6.3 percent in the period from the beginning of November to mid-December 2011, compared to the prior-year period.

In the period from the beginning of November to mid-December 2011, Wolford achieved a growth in sales of 6.3 percent from the prior-year period.

“The gratifying development of our business up until now in the Christmas holiday season reflects the acceptance of our product portfolio. This has been especially evident by the increased customer frequency at Wolford proprietary stores compared to the previous year, as well as by the higher average purchase amount by consumers,” said Chief Executive Officer Holger Dahmen.

Sales with Wolford's proprietary stores developed particularly well, posting an increase of 13.1 percent. This corresponds to sales growth of 9.4 percent on a like-for-like basis. This corresponds to sales growth of 9.4 percent on a like-for-like basis.
