Gallery International Fashion Fair is already famous for its
impressive show scene and that is not without reason. Over the last 5 years more than 100 deserving designers from all over Europe have released their shows onto the now celebrated catwalk. To uphold their honour this edition, Gallery promises another full and worthy program on the Danish catwalk, which neighbours the authentic Music Academy.
The Copenhagen Fashion Week’s show scene and Gallery in particular, is known all over the fashion world and designers are waiting in line to show their collections on the Danish catwalk. Established names like Preen, Peter Jensen, Jill Sander, Marimekko, Cheap Monday, Ann-Sofie Back, Carin Wester and Stine Goya have strutted their stuff and once again, this coming edition promises to be a true extravaganza. In particular for lovers of the Scandinavian fashion image, since we now know the first names that will show at the Gallery International Fashion Fair and they are certainly no small fry. Were you considering visiting the Copenhagen Fashion Week but need a final push to take that step? Maybe the show scene program will be just the reason you need. Gallery International Fashion Fair can reveal some of the names already but no doubt there will be more shows added later. Here is a sneak preview:
- Stine Ladefoged
- Yasamin Zafar
- Tabernacle Twins
- French Connection
- Ivan Grundahl
- Johanna Pihl
- Carin Wester
A few of the designers – including French Connection and Carin Wester – are organising a complete event alongside their shows to further emphasise their label experience. After all, brand awareness is a key word on Gallery’s fair floor. The crème de la crème from the international fashion world will be there in the fields of design and in the field of purchasing. In short, are you looking to re-vamp your store? Then now is the time to visit the fair. Scandinavian design is hot. Gallery is probably one of the most important trade fairs of the moment and Copenhagen is rapidly developing as a fashion city. Enough reasons to visit the Danish capital this summer.
