Talks and Seminars at Moda

FashionUnited have already been looking at emerging designers at this month's key
UK trade show. However beyond the wealth of new and established talent, who will exhibiting up in Birmingham, visitors can also expect a bumper show full of essential industry advice and key business information.
 
Focused seminars will be covering a range of topics from including presentations on PR&Marketing, mobile technology, customer service, social media, and visual merchandising trends. The six free of charge sessions scheduled over the three day show will allow visitors to have their business questions answered by the industry's most forward thinking experts.
 
A previous FashionUnited interviewee, Claire Rayner, often referred to as the 'retail champion' will be giving a talk entitled, 'How to develop an upward cycle of customer engagement;' the talk will address amongst other topics, how to use certain methods to pull in customers, and identify the right pricing and product to get the best customer conversion possible. And also ways to retain customer loyalty through sales and word of mouth recommendation.
 
Other leading figures giving valuable advice include Nick Pratt, ecommerce specialist and managing director of Sitemakers Ltd, who will look at how to get the best out of rapid new developments in technology, including smartphones and tablets. And some speakers will return to this month's event by popular demand, including Gloople founder, Warren Knight, on using Google and social media to help increase sales.
 
Moda Birmingham wil host S/S13 collections from Aug 12-14th.
