Stradivarius, the womenswear label from Spanish fashion group Inditex, has opened its first UK store at Westfield Stratford.

The opening of the 4,250 square foot store follows the success of its UK e-commerce launch last year and comes as the fashion chain celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Targeting women aged between 20 and 35, the affordable fashion label which sells apparel, footwear and accessories will sit alongside Inditex’s other brands in the UK - Zara, Zara Home, Pull & Bear, Bershka and Massimo Dutti.

Commenting on the opening, Keith Mabbett, Westfield’s director of leasing, said: “We are very excited to be launching the first UK Stradivarius store at Westfield Stratford City. Westfield centres remain the first choice for international retailers looking to launch in the UK including David’s Bridal, American Eagle and Smiggle.

“The opening of Stradivarius will be an excellent addition to our strong fashion offer at Westfield Stratford City.”

Stradivarius has more than 870 stores in 60 countries across the globe, and it has been reported that it is looking for further locations in the UK to expand its international presence.
