Phillip Lim pop up in Selfridges

Selfridges’ buyers will get a flavour of the New York design world as renowned American designer, Phillip Lim, has made his first foray to London in seven years, to open his pop up store in the department store.

AS one of Selfridges’ most popular designers, his return couldn’t be welcomed more; "I definitely think I'm an evolutionary rather than a revolutionary designer,"

"I know my customer now and when I design I try to put myself in her shoes, not literally but figuratively! I think, 'if I were a woman, what would I want right now?' I never think about trying to impress the buyers."
