Nicole Fahri winning window displaysFriday, 30 September 2011
Nicole Fahri is the latest retailer to create innovative
window displays. She has recruited the expertise of a winning student from the London College of Fashion.
Daniel Purnell was picked by course directors and visual merchandising course leaders after a college competition and has gone onto create displays focusing on art world influences; the design features a series of silver, chrome 3-dimmensional geometric sculptures, influenced by the work of 20th Century figurative painter Egon Schiele and the large scale installations of British sculptor Anthony Gormley.
Nicole Fahri, head of visual merchandising, James Shouli, says "Working on this project with all the students was extremely exciting and the level of talent was exceptional and a pleasure to be part of," said Shouli. "Daniel's design captured the essence of the collection and the brand through his use of innovative techniques."
