Karl Lagerfeld to open first storeMonday, 08 October 2012
creative director Karl Lagerfeld is set to open his first boutique for his eponymous label in
Paris’ Saint-Germain district.
The two-floor concept store, which has been designed in Karl Lagerfeld’s signature minimalist monochrome decor, will carry his womenswear, menswear and accessories lines, and will be open next February.
Based near the brand’s headquarters the 200 square metre boutique will also house a “unique assortment of objects” including a selection of photography and design books, sunglasses, watches, as well as a number of limited edition pieces curated by Lagerfeld.
The standalone boutique follows the success of his pop-up space that was housed within Selfridges over the summer.
