Karen Peacock joins M&S

Marks & Spencer has announced that Debenhams’s womenswear design director, Karen Peacock is to join the retailer as its new Head of Design for Footwear and Accessories, Autograph, Classics and Indigo Collection.

Peacock, who has been at Debenhams for 10 years, introduced the Designers at Debenhams ranges and created the Edition concept, will be replaced by Lisa Marie Peacock, who covered her role while she was on maternity leave.

Karen Peacock has previously worked for Marks & Spencer as an accessories designer and will be re-joining the retailer in July.
