H&M to launch sport pop-ups

Fashion retailer H&M is celebrating its Sport collections this summer with the opening of two H&M Sport pop-ups in London to coincide with the London Olympics. The stores will be located in Covent Garden and in Westfield Stratford City and will be open for 10 weeks and will stock a selection of women’s, men’s and children’s sportswear.

The first pop-up will open on July 6 in Covent Garden and the interior has been inspired by a school sports hall and will feature reclaimed furniture and retro gym equipment. The following day, July 7, the Westfield Stratford City store will open featuring a more contemporary feel with a directional design.

“We’re very excited to be opening the UK’s first pop up store in Covent Garden and concept store in Westfield Stratford, it’s a nice surprise for our customers and a new twist on the H&M business concept of fashion and quality at the best price.” says Magnus Olsson, Country Manager H&M UK & Ireland.

Exclusively for both stores H&M Sport will be launching a limited edition collection in patriotic colours as well as a variety of accessories and beauty products from the H&M collection.
