H&M Group sales increase 15 percent in SeptemberMonday, 15 October 2012
In September 2012, Hennes & Mauritz Group’s total sales
including VAT in local currencies increased by 15 percent compared to the same month the previous year. Sales in comparable units increased by 6 percent.
Comparable units comprise the stores and the internet and catalogue sales countries that have been in operation for at least a financial year. The total number of stores amounted to 2,669 on September 30, 2012 against 2,363 as on September 30, 2011.
The H&M Group has more than 2,600 stores. In addition to H&M, the group brands include COS, Monki, Weekday and Cheap Monday and H&M Home. In 2011, sales including VAT were 128,810 million Swedish Krona (19, 185 million dollars).
