Harvey Nichols fashion sees profits surge

Monday, 19 December 2011

Luxury department store Harvey Nichols has seen its profits jump nearly 40 per cent to £16m.

The company said revenue rose by nearly £3.5m to £87.1m in the year to 2 April. Harvey Nichols has other stores across the country, but these are held in separate companies. The group is controlled by Asian tycoon Dickson Poon, who is also chairman at Harvey Nichols.

Harvey Nichols' recent refurbishments have seen it's fashion offer back on top form, stocking well-known brands such as Miu Miu and Christopher Kane, to up-and-coming labels U Clothing and Aiko.
