American department store Saks Fifth Avenue is withdrawing Galliano’s mens
collection of the floors in its New York store. Allegedly, there is a link between the removal and the anti-Semitic remarks made by the fashion designer just before Paris Fashion Week. According to the New York Post, the department store doesn’t want to carry his creations any longer in honour of their customers and employees.
The collection Galliano made for Dior remain on sale.
