London College of Fashion is running a course for the second time led by the Three Faiths Forum
Twenty schoolgirls hand-picked from Muslim and Christian schools will be given the chance to experience the fashion industry and learn how to find inspiration for designs, develop their ideas in a look book, and produce finished designs for their portfolios.
3FF have been working for nearly 15 years to improve relations between communities and society. The 'Faith and Fashion' project aims to explore what fashion means to teenage girls; the course looks at how beliefs influence the way people dress, how religious edicts on clothing can inspire fashion trends and aims to build links between communities.
