Wednesday, 11 April 2012

Menswear, mid level fashion brand, Burton, are introducing an international shipping service to over 100 countries worldwide in a bid to extend global presence and reach.

Burton said the launch will allow it to reach out to new customers in countries where stores may not yet be available and offer UK customers greater flexibility when shopping online by enabling them to take delivery of orders when travelling overseas.

Head of e-commerce at Burton, Richard Wilson, said: "International delivery is really exciting for us as a brand - it opens up a window of opportunity for the business, and means we can acquire customers from every corner of the globe. "There are places where we believe there is a demand for international delivery already, such as in Germany and Australia - other Arcadia brands are enjoying great success there and we would expect to follow suit, but it'll be interesting to see which other places are keen to use our new service."

Burton operates 400 stores across the UK and has a store presence in 15 countries worldwide.
