Knitwear Buyer
Location: Paris
Salary: €40000 to €60000 depending on experience
Knitwear Buyer wanted to join Global high street retailer at there office in Paris!!
An exciting opportunity has come available for an experienced knitwear buyer to join womenswear fast fashion retailer, who strive to be attract and develop the best talent in fashion. There products are tailored to a fashion conscious, trend aware yet self assured young women, all ranges are designed and developed in house.
As a Knitwear buyer your responsibilities will be:
- Anticipate future market trends and incorporate them into the range
- Continually develop the product portfolio in order to maintain a competitive edge and satisfy customer needs
- Work closely with suppliers and understand their strengths and weaknesses and negotiating directly with them to achieve the margins required.
- Daily management responsibility for the Buying Team including monitoring and reviewing team objectives, motivation, training and developments
- Full responsibility for the budget and regular analysis of the sales performances
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3yrs to 4yrs experience within women’s high street fashion buying and must have had substantial exposure to working with knitwear. You must have a strong understanding of the product and of the customer.
This position is based in Paris and will offer full support with relocation. The business language is English.
