To celebrate the UT Project, Uniqlo teams up with photographer Matt Irwin to open ‘The UT Gallery’ in London’s East End, showcasing portraits shot by London-based Matt Irwin for the first Uniqlo global advertising campaign. Shot by Matt Irwin over 10-days in both London and New York City, the UT advertising campaign features 200 up-and-coming artists and future visionaries from both cities. Matt Irwin and stylist Nicola Formichetti embarked on a multi-media grass-roots search for talent, that included street-casting and canvassing the ultimate self-expression destination; MySpace. The complete collection of Matt Irwin photographs will feature in Uniqlo’s in-house magazine Uniqlo Paper No. 4, in stores from the middle of April.
