Uniqlo celebrates 50 years of Manga E-mail
Friday, 16 May 2008
This summer, Uniqlo stores are embellished in super-size Manga characters. Taking influence from its Japanese heritage, enormous Manga characters and comic strips have taken over the windows and interiors of Uniqlo's stores in the West End. Working with one of Japan's biggest Manga publisher Shogakukan, Uniqlo created a commemorative collaboration celebrating 50 years of Weekly Shonen Sunday & Shonen Magazine.

Across town Uniqlo have collaborated with Dazed & Confused photographer Matt Irwin to open the 'UT Gallery''. The collection shows images curated by Uniqlo and Irwin, featuring street-cast models from the recent UT advertising campaign. The UT gallery will be open until 18 May and will retail a selection of Uniqlo print t-shirts, as featured in the campaign.
