Sportswear giant Nike this week named Jill Stanton as Vice President of global apparel for the Nike brand.
Nike's apparel business worldwide is almost $4.6 billion, representing about a third of total brand revenues. Stanton will report to Nike brand President Charlie Denson. ??

She brings a passion for Nike coupled with rich experience leading both our European and Asia Pacific regions, which will be invaluable as we continue driving growth and brand leadership in apparel worldwide," Denson said. " Stanton, 44, joined Nike in 1997 in the United Kingdom as the Apparel Business Director. She has held a variety of apparel leadership positions, including General Manager of Asia Pacific Apparel. Prior to her recent appointment as head of U.S. apparel, Stanton led apparel in Nike's Europe, Middle East and Africa region, re-energizing the business and driving 32 percent revenue growth. www.nike.com |
