As of November 2008, trendy high street store Hennes & Maurits will appoint a new chief financial officer. Jyrki Tervonen will be replacing Leif Persson as
new CFO for H&M towards the end of this year. Since 1997, Jyrki Tervonen has been with the Swedish fashion company. His recent position being country manager for Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Additionally Jyrki has been CFO for Finland. Leif Persson will continue to act as a member of the Executive Management Team and will from November be working with strategic company matters.
