Sustainable fashion has not been forgotten this London Fashion Week. Amongst the directional labels and emerging talents are three teams of young eco-fashion designers who will showcase their new collection on the British Fashion Council's catwalk.

The teams will go head to head during a show at Covent Garden's members club Hospital to compete for a prize to help kick-start their new fashion businesses. The designers are involved with the showcase after winning a national fashion competition to be mentored by top sustainable fashion labels.

The competition is run by the Make your Mark campaign, which aims to unlock the UK's enterprise potential, and is supported by the Ethical Fashion forum, reports the London Paper.
