Over the years denim brand Levi’s has collaborated with many magazines on special showcases. In 1992 for example, Levi’s collaborated
with publications like The Face and Arena Magazine on unique portfolio of fashion photographs. It showcased five emergent artists of that era, including British photographer David Sims and Naples born photographer Mario Sorrenti.
To celebrate the 135th birthday of the 501 jean this exercise is being re-explored. For the showcase two exhibitions are incorporated on a wider scale. The works are curated by The Face’s former editorial director, Ashley Heath - nowadays director of Berlin based fashion and lifestyle magazine Qvest. Five emerging talents are on show at the London located Cinch store until Sunday June 15th.
