Twin sisters Truus and Riet are the creative force behind their avant-garde yet wearable label Spijkers en Spijkers. Mixing soft materials
with hard lines and focusing on strong geometrical forms; Spijkers en Spijkers stayed true to their signature style when they showed their new collection during London Fashion Week.
For Autumn Winter 2008, Spijkers & Spijkers showcased a plethora of desirable pieces, such as capelets with trompe l'oeil detailing, spotted chiffons in mauve or green on black and nouveau camouflage, a trend set to dominate next season. Spijkers & Spijkers was launched in 1996. It was their shared thoughts on fashion and design, perfectly complementing each other, that makes Truus and Riet such a strong fashion duo. The collection is currently available from Selfridges department store and B Store. |
