Supermodel Kate Moss is the most eBayed celebrity of last year, according to Agencies. About 30,481 items related to the 33-year-old model
were sold on the auction site eBay, with most buyers after the Topshop clothing range designed by her.
Next in line were the Spice Girls with the sale of 26,458 bits of merchandise and memorabilia, no doubt sparked news of their reunion tour, which started in December in London. Pop star Britney Spears was a hit with 19,996 related items and also singer Amy Winehouse, who attracted 16,052 sales, including dozens of beehive wigs proving her popularity. Harry Potter merchandise proved to be the most sought after, with 202,081 items sold. "Celebrity-related memorabilia on the site is the ultimate barometer of who's hot or not," the Mirror quoted an eBay spokesman, as saying. |
