Giorgio Armani is joining forces with Samsung to design new digital gadgets. According to reports, Giorgio and the company are teaming up for the development of a "luxury" mobile phone, as well as a "luxury" LCD television, both of which are rumoured to be extremely "luxurious."

The phone will make its first "official" appearance at the Armani fashion show in Milan this week, while the television will be released next January. "This powerful partnership will match great design with leading technology to ensure performance is as impressive as appearance," said Yun Jong-Yong, vice chairman of Samsung.

The Armani-Samsung phone will be the size of a credit card and 10.5 millimeters thick, the companies said in a statement.
