Whilst the creations of conceptional fashion designer Hussein Chalayan are on display at the Design Museum in London, the museum
is organising fashion workshops especially for children. Young fashionista’s can create their own fashion illustrations, mini 3D garments and mannequins. A catwalk display of the designs will be photographed at the end of each session and souvenir images will be emailed to each participant.
Alongside other creativity workshops suitable for children, Fashion Illustrations are taking place on Sunday 1, 8, 15, 22 February. Every child visiting the Design Museum is given a free Design Action Pack of observation and creativity exercises to make their visit more enjoyable and informative. The packs include creativity exercises and a Spot the Building game to identify architectural landmarks visible from the riverfront.
