Central Saint Martins graduate show E-mail
Wednesday, 04 June 2008
The world famous Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London held its annual graduate fashion show this week, showcasing a total of forty final year students’ work. This year’s event proved to be as exciting and creatively new thinking as ever, featuring everything from the exquisitely beautiful to the outright bizarre, proving yet again that when it comes to exploring the boundaries of fashion, London’s young designers are still at the forefront.

From the iconic designs of London's red Routemaster buses and exquisite fashion at Dior and Chloé in Paris; Central Saint Martins' alumni have made a profound impact on our lives. The school's staff and students continue to build on the success of its past by pushing the boundaries of the practice of art and design and art and design education.

Central Saint Martins provides specialist education and research in the fields of fine art, fashion & textiles, film, video and photography, graphics & communication design, three dimensional design, theatre & performance and interdisciplinary art & design.

Graduate fashion week this year takes place at Earls Court and runs from 8-12 June. For more information go to www.gfw.org.uk.
