Singing sensation and tabloid favourite Amy Winehouse is set to launch her own range of clothes and makeup. The troubled singer,
famous for her incredible voice as for her stings in rehab, is apparently launching a line that will include will include hairspray, as inspired by her beehive bouffant, heavy liquid eyeliner, a utility item no girl should be without, and of course fashion staples such as cut-off shorts in winter, barely-there tanks and ballet pumps.
According to The Sun online, a friend of Winehouse said, 'She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, headscarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume. All the things that are distinctive of her look.' A fashion industry insider added, 'I think this stuff would sell very well in London. She has become a fashion icon despite not always looking too fresh. |
