Top Award for Draper's Editor

Eric Musgrave, editor-in-Chief of Drapers, last week was named Editor of the Year for business and professional magazines in the annual awards run by the Periodical Publishers Association.

The award, one of the biggest in British journalism, proves Musgrave is still innovative and individualistic after 23 years in the fashion industry. According to the PPA judges "he clearly demonstrates a real handle on the fashion business - there is a strong sense of who's who in the industry. He is himself a big industry man with an in-depth knowledge of his market."

The award was made for Musgrave's work in merging Drapers Record and Menswear to form the current Drapers, the UK fashion business weekly.
