London Fashion Week may be moved to a different time slot if Anna Wintour has anything to say about it. According to vogue.co.uk the formidable editor-in-chief of US Vogue will meet with Stuart Rose today to discuss changing the schedule to slot London Fashion Week in between Milan and Paris. In this way, the fashion press and important buyers will be able to schedule London into their travel plans, bringing publicity and capital to the city. At The Sunday Times Style lecture at The British Museum, Wintour said that she was passionate about doing everything she could to help the British Fashion industry. "You have the most talented designers in the world,"she said. |
